A recent example of this was a beautiful Spring-themed morning in our Pre-Nursery, thoughtfully planned and led by our parent community. What made it special wasn’t just the celebration itself, but the process behind it—parents coming together to brainstorm, design, and execute hands-on, purposeful learning stations that brought the season of spring alive for our youngest learners. The focus was on simple joys and meaningful engagement: 🌼 Exploring textures of leaves and flowers through sensorial play 🌼 Potting saplings and learning to care for a new plant 🌼 Creating nature-inspired bookmarks using real flowers 🌼 Matching games, sorting activities, and collaborative murals 🌼 Making fresh lemonade and enjoying healthy, homemade snacks It was a day where teachers stepped back, and parents stepped in—not just as volunteers, but as co-creators of a learning experience. It was an absolute pleasure reconnecting with my Pilani and Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani senior, Gaurav Vaid, Founding Partner at Venturis Group Inc, during his visit to Prometheus School today, after nearly three decades! The timing couldn’t have been better, as Gaurav witnessed the lively Primary School Athletics Meet, cheering on our young learners and even joining us for a fun round of Tug of War between Parents and Prometheus Staff. It was great to give him a tour of the campus with Minesh U. and share the incredible journey we’ve embarked on at Prometheus. Prometheus School’s Sports Day 2025 was a spectacular celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and resilience! We were privileged to host Mr. Piyush Kumar Dubey, Director of High Performance at the Sports Authority of India, as our chief guest, inspiring students to push their limits. Students from Grades 6 to 12 participated in exciting races—60m, 100m, relays and inter house tug of war—with incredible energy. The tug-of-war between teachers and parents added extra excitement, testing strength, coordination, and strategy! The competition among Ruby, Topaz, Sapphire, and Emerald Houses was intense, but Sapphire House claimed the Best House Championship! The day ended with grand victory ceremonies , honoring our young athletes with medals and trophies.
