We couldn’t be more proud as you’ve achieved this remarkable milestone! 🎉 Your dedication to carpooling, saving the environment, and building meaningful connections is inspiring. Thank you for being such an integral part of the Quick Ride community. Here’s to many more shared rides, new friendships, and eco-friendly journeys ahead! 🌍🚗
Can't imagine driving in Bangalore traffic without Car-pooling. I started using Quick Ride while commuting to the office from pre-covid time. I have used it as a ride-taker as well as ride-giver. Today I feel proud that I have completed 1000 ride sharing on Quick Ride. It's not just a Car-pooling app but also a very good networking app. You can't just be quiet while sitting with your co-riders so you interact, discuss, exchange ideas and information. The best part is, In this journey you come across people with diverse genders, class, careers, backgrounds, goals etc, and get to learn a lot from them. Thanks, Quick Ride for creating such a platform and also give us an opportunity to do our part to save the environment. My ECO-METER: 14000+ km total Distance shared = that's 5 times of India from North to South 80k+ money saved = that's worth 2-3 years of petrol 400 new friends - > lots of networking and cool discussions on various topics #Quickride #Carpooling #SaveEnvironment #Networkingonthego

Here’s an Indian brand delivering a near 11 Star experience like Airbnb I’m writing this post to appreciate a delightful experience with Quick Ride! The cab that I booked for the airport was showing 25 minutes to arrive. I received the call from a ‘080’ number thinking it was the cab driver but I was surprised. It was actually a cab operator, ‘Mr. Gandhi’ who was responsible my ride from the QR team. I requested him if can I get a nearby driver as I would miss my flight - the traffic to the Bangalore airport is unpredictable. Although I wasn’t hopeful when I made the request, he said - ‘Sir, give me 5 minutes, I’ll try’ And guess what, he actually called back and helped me with a nearby ride. This kind of experience is unusual and unheard of! The QR team was not just proactive in ensuring my ride was smooth, they also ensured they helped me with a nearby ride. Kudos to the team and Mr. Gandhi who helped me with the ride. I’m glad I didn’t miss my flight. I’d love to know what are other delightful experiences you’ve seen from brands where they’ve gone beyond :)

Thank you for sharing such a unique perspective on carpooling! It’s amazing how casual, unfiltered conversations during a commute can provide such valuable insights. Carpooling really does offer more than just a ride—it creates space for meaningful exchanges that can shape ideas and products. Glad to hear Quick Ride played a role in facilitating these unexpected yet impactful focus groups! 🚗
Carpooling: My Unexpected Focus Group As a founder, I often found myself seeking direct feedback from consumers to understand their needs and pain points. While traditional focus groups and surveys offered valuable insights, I discovered an unexpected and effective method: carpooling. During my daily commute, I would often find myself sharing rides with strangers. These casual conversations, free from the formality of a structured interview, provided a unique opportunity to engage in genuine discussions. Without any predetermined agenda or bias, I could simply listen to their thoughts on a variety of topics, including their experiences with transportation, technology, and lifestyle. The beauty of carpooling was the extended duration of these conversations. Unlike brief encounters in a store or online, I had the opportunity to engage with individuals for at least 30 minutes, allowing for in-depth discussions and a deeper understanding of their perspectives. This unfiltered feedback was invaluable in shaping our product development and ensuring that it truly aligned with the needs of our target market. Thank to Quick Ride for finding verified strangers to commute with. #Sustainbleuserfeedback #consciousTravelmadebetter #quickride VIRGIO #yourfeedbackmatters

Thank you for sharing this! You’ve captured the Bengaluru spirit perfectly. Using Quick Ride not only reduces traffic and pollution, but also opens doors for unexpected opportunities—like securing funding or job referrals, as you mentioned in your post. It’s amazing how small steps like carpooling can create such positive ripple effects. Plus, Quick Ride has even helped people make friends for life! Let’s keep taking action and lead by example to make our city better. 🌱🚗 Thank you Sharan Hegde for inspiring many through your video.
How many of us complain about Bengaluru’s horrible traffic situation? A typical Bengaluru resident spends an average of 260 hours each year driving, with 134 of those hours spent in traffic congestion. Bengaluru experiences 1,600 km of gridlock per day and the number of vehicles on the streets is up 6,000% since 1990. Bengaluru's traffic elicits a diverse range of emotions—anger, disgust, despair, grief, incredulity, wit, and sarcasm…. And yet, as I observe from the window of my vehicle stuck in a Monday morning Marathahalli jam (a road in the city’s office district infamous for its congestion), I notice many cars with only a single occupant. Bangalore, commonly known as the Silicon Valley of India, is a dynamic hub of innovation. The city is alive with entrepreneurs and engineers, with new startups springing up nearly every day from hostel rooms and universities. In fact, even when I’m enjoying the occasional beer on weekends at well-known micro-breweries, I encounter entrepreneurs addressing challenges related to sustainability only to see them drive away in their own private vehicles. Discussions about climate change and sustainability are at the forefront of dinner table conversations, so why can’t we lead by example by making small changes in our daily lives? A couple of months ago, inspired by Sharan Hegde , I started using Quick Ride which is a carpooling app, to commute to the office. This app allows users to share rides, share commuting costs, reduce traffic and pollution, all at the same time. Many riders offer their services across popular arterial routes. While this may not be a big step, it’s a small one in the right direction. As a ripple effect, it offers the added advantage of avoiding the hassle that one goes through of booking cabs/autos from 4 different applications only to have the driver cancel on you. (If you know, you know) And if that’s not enough? In true Bangalorean sense, I know of at least 3 separate instances where a start-up founder has secured funding from a co-passenger using Quick Ride or where a passenger has received a referral and has successfully switched jobs. This is the City I have grown to love and to see it being brought to its knees everyday is very disheartening. I truly hope that more of us are inspired to preserve this city's identity as the 'pensioners paradise' and not lose it to the 'pollution hub'. As Indira Gandhi once said: " Have a bias toward action - let's see something happen now. You can break that big plan into small steps and take the first step right away. "

One consumer, many touchpoints. Indigo meets makemytrip meets quickride meets virgio, get the drift? Nope? Partnerships! Having built partnerships for almost a solid decade now, and debated & defended almost everyday. Can #partnerships deliver attributable ROI? Does it deliver growth? Can it deliver consumer delight? Here is a fun quick account of my ride back home this weekend & a really cool smooth partnerships experience. So I was at the Nasik airport waiting to board an #Indigo flight (booked via MMT) when MakeMyTrip whatsapped me promising a cheapest fare ride back home. (all cab provider logos neatly stacked together) with a link. The link asked for my destination (MMT knows my source, Bangalore airport), I fed in my address & it showed me prices across 6 popular vendors. I picked the cheapest one, which otherwise I wouldn't even have opened the app for. Quick Ride!!! Additionally the mental comfort of having found the best deal & a waiting cab upon arrival. No need to look further. Post landing, I get to my cab pretty smoothly waiting for me (ummm, feels great!) and have a VIRGIO magazine waiting on the backseat, Now this one I did not see coming. Really slick, made the ride back home fun. Verdict: Delightful!! Kudos to everyone in the value chain. Isn’t #bengaluru amazing? Which brand here got the best of it? Or maybe the consumer won. Win-win! What do you think? Answer in the comments below. IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) #airportshenanigans #alliances #growthmarketing #consumerdelight
