The Philippines faces one of the world’s highest #TB burdens, accounting for 7% of global cases, according to Maria Rosario Vergeire, Officer-in-Charge of the Department of Health (Philippines). TB disproportionately impacts vulnerable populations, fueled by poverty and risk factors such as poor nutrition, overcrowded living conditions, and limited access to #healthcare.
