In the villages of Kantipota, Goalbati, and Kolarkhal in South 24 Parganas, West Bengal we engaged in meaningful conversations with mothers about the importance of empowering their daughters and children. Organized by the active mothers of our peer leaders, this gathering encouraged more women to support their daughters in attending our SRHR sessions. Together, we discussed anatomy, menstrual health, child marriage, and the need for open conversations around bodily autonomy.
