About us
At Reap Benefit, we strive to tackle and solve local environmental and civic problems concerning waste, water, energy, and sanitation, through low cost solutions, which are user friendly and require low maintenance. Our engagements are focused primarily with young school students, as we believe that armed with the right skill set, today's youth will be tomorrow's problem solvers. Since inception, Reap Benefit has so far indulged in 500,000 hours of public problem solving, collected 375,000 data points, created over 23,647 Ninjas with citizen problem-solving skills, and through its innovative solutions saved 44 million litres of water, diverted 560 tonnes of waste, saved 1.7 million units of energy, developed 200 prototypes and helped 300 schools with improved sanitation systems. Reap Benefit was one of the top-5 start-ups at Stand-up Start-up India 2016, and co-founder Kuldeep Dantewadia has been an Unreasonable Institute Fellow (2015), Ashoka Fellow (2013) and an MIT GSW Programme Fellow (2013). We have also been listed under Forbes 30 under 30 (2014).

We were truly honored by the presence of Hon'ble Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate, Shri Lakshmikanth Reddy, I.A.S., whose participation elevated the impact of this unique event—the first of its kind in Mysore. A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed jury and Guests of Honour, Ravi BR, Director-Engineering at Travancore Analytics, Anitha Sadanand, Founder of mommy mills food (mamma mills) and Sarah Misra, COO Reap Benefit for lending their expertise in evaluating 40+ passionate teams alongside Gautham Nayak, Program Director at Comedkares. Meet our Climate Champion of Young India from Punjab 🌿✨ With his roots in 📍 Jagraon, Punjab, Bharat Bansal, also known as a Solve Ninja, is a dedicated and #passionate individual with a proven track record in climate action, youth development, and #grassroots leadership. He has #facilitated over 50 climate-focused programs in partnership with various institutions and raised #awareness among more than 2500 youth from rural, semi-urban, and urban areas across India about climate-related challenges. Currently, he is on a mission to build a #community of young people who take meaningful actions against climate issues and inspire others to join the fight against climate change. From over 1200 candidates, we have finally selected 30 Champions from 28 States and Union Territories, who will steer the grassroot youth climate movement in India.
