A very happy Diwali to everyone!!

For so many of us who’ve traded small towns for big-city life, Diwali is that one time of year that takes us back — to familiar streets, home-cooked meals, and family traditions. It’s not just about lighting diyas; it’s about being reminded of where we come from. I think that’s what makes Diwali special: it reminds us that no matter how far we’ve gone, there’s always a place (and people) waiting to welcome us back. It’s about finding those familiar faces around the dinner table, revisiting old memories, while creating newer ones. So, here’s to coming home this Diwali. Wishing everyone a happy Diwali filled with everything that matters the most. Ruder Finn India #LifeAtRF #HappyDiwali

Senior Account Director at Ruder Finn Asia | E4M's 40 Under 40 2021

Ever heard the saying, “A stitch in time saves nine”? I never thought it would apply to my work life until recently.   A few months ago, I rediscovered a passion for embroidery—something I’d watched my grandmother do, turning plain fabric into beautiful creations. My first attempts weren’t perfect, but as I kept going, I realized there were lessons in it that connected back to my work. Here’s what this therapeutic process taught me: Creativity is Key: With one needle and thread, there are endless ways to stitch a pattern. At work, there’s always more than one way to solve a problem—sometimes you just need to think outside the box. Find Joy in the Process: Hard work can be therapeutic if you find joy in it. Whether it’s a passion project or a campaign, enjoying the process makes it more rewarding. Details Matter: The beauty of embroidery lies in the small, intricate stitches. In PR, it’s the little things—precision, nuance, thoroughness, that make the difference. Efficiency Isn’t Rushing: It’s about finding your rhythm and doing it well, not just finishing first. Quality work takes steady, thoughtful effort. And lastly, Never hesitate to Restart: Mistakes happen, but they’re your learnings to finding better & new creative solutions. Same at work—every learning is a chance to grow. Who knew a needle and thread could teach so much? I would love to know what lessons your interests have brought to your work life. #RFSoapBox Ruder Finn India

Account Manager at Ruder Finn India | PRmoment 30 under 30 | E4M PR & Corp Comm 30 under 30

If I had to describe October in one word, it would be "eventful"! It started with the Navratras, a festivity very close to my heart—filled with positive energy and a wonderful way for me to rejuvenate. On the professional front, I had the opportunity to work on interesting festive campaigns, events, some travel, and some emotional highs and lows. And now being honoured with exchange4media 30 under 30 award! It's such a delightful feeling to be recognized alongside such talented individuals in the PR and Communications industry. Shoutout to E4M for giving a platform to all communications professionals. A big thanks to Mehak Arora and Aishwarya Matta for supporting and guiding me through this process! 🫶🏻 And a special mention to Aashima Malik for always encouraging me to do better! Ruder Finn India

This edition of #RFSoapBox has Megha Behl, Sr. Account Director, talking about the importance of having the right tribe at work. Do give it a read and give a shoutout to 'Your Tribe'!

Many of us have heard this before, some may be a few hundred times, “Surround yourself with people who believe in you.” It might sound like a simple mantra, but there’s a lot of truth to it—whether at home or in the workplace. The people who surround you can shape how you think, grow, and succeed. Trust Fuels Confidence Think about those moments when someone believed in you, even when you doubted yourself. It’s a game-changer, right? Having people who genuinely back you up, boosts your confidence. They’ll support your ideas, cheer for your wins, and even nudge you to take those bold risks that can lead to big rewards. Focus on Possibilities, Not Problems When you’re stuck in an environment where everything feels like a constant critique, it’s tough to stay motivated. But being around people who see solutions instead of problems? That energy rubs off on you. It’s refreshing and keeps you focused on what’s possible, not what’s holding you back. Lean on Your Tribe When Things Get Tough We all have those days when nothing goes as planned. That’s when having a solid support system makes all the difference. Whether it’s offering a bit of guidance, celebrating small wins, or just being there to listen, a strong circle can help everyone thrive—not just as individuals, but as a team. Growth Isn’t a Solo Journey Here’s the secret: real growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s fueled by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. It’s not about competition but collaboration. When colleagues uplift each other, share their knowledge, and celebrate every milestone together, progress stops being a solo mission and turns into a shared journey. In the end, people around you make all the difference. The right tribe won’t just push you to grow—they’ll make you believe that everything is possible. #RFSoapbox Ruder Finn India

It was our first #UnpluggedHour and this creative downtime is something we all enjoyed! #LifeAtRF

Today at work, we did something that really hit home — we launched the “Unplugged Hour,” giving everyone a chance to take a break, slow down, and just breathe. It got me thinking about how we often overlook these simple moments to reset. I had one of those moments recently, but not by choice — a sudden illness forced me to stop everything. I won’t lie, at first I was frustrated. It felt like an unwelcome interruption in an already busy life. But as the days passed, I realized this pause was something I needed. Sometimes, life hands us these pauses when we least expect them, and even though they can be inconvenient, they’re a reminder that rest isn’t optional- it’s essential. When was the last time you gave yourself permission to just… pause? Whether it’s a short walk, some quiet time, or simply unplugging for a while, these breaks help us come back stronger, more focused, and with a clearer sense of purpose. So, let’s remind ourselves that it’s okay to hit pause. In fact, it might be the most important thing we do for ourselves. Ruder Finn India #LifeAtRF #MentalHealthDay

What's changed? Managed to spend few minutes last evening with some bright minds at work. It was almost end of the day, yet all of them had a sparkle in their eyes, eager to discuss their campaigns, learnings and observations in the last couple of quarters. These young RF’ers have been part of some large format, heavy impact campaigns, some of which will definitely make its way into our industry award nominations the next season. As each of them started sharing their story, it was a déjà vu for me on my own journey as a professional. - Team spirit: interdependence and being able to ask for help, leverage strengths and make up for the gaps within teams - Research backed counsel: empowering yourself with proof points to ensure your conversations are meaningful and to achieve desired goals - Perseverance to stay on: staying focused on the goal and coming back to it against all odds - Invest and nurture your connections: connecting beyond work conversations, empathizing with the other person and not seeing conversations as transactions - Multi-tasking and prioritization: managing deliverables yet not compromising on quality and timelines committed for delivery - Accountability: owning up on the project, taking necessary risks and staying in control of the situation - Collaborate to success: envision the bigger picture and working towards it as one team As I closed my day, I was certain that many of the above existed and will continue, but the way this will get understood will evolve. Maybe it’s not ‘back to basics’ but these are our ‘basics to get better.’ Ruder Finn India Anupama Varma Darshana Joshi medhavi singh Saisha Singh Laveena Giamalani Nimisha Naresh Muskaan Bhardwaj Aastha Sharma Tanushree Chaudhary Aarzoo Mehta @eeshita ahuja Vanika Mehndiratta Manasvi Agnihotri
