By creating a lighthearted environment, medical clowns bring joy and positivity, which can significantly boost a patient's morale and overall well-being. Laughter has been proven to reduce stress hormones, enhance the immune response, and promote healing, making it a valuable complementary therapy for patients, especially those facing serious conditions like cancer. Very recently, Sampoorna NGO has organized the medical clowning program at Apna Ghar by the Intas Foundation in Guwahati. Mr. Anubhav Mahanta, with his exceptional humor and the support of his talented team, brought smiles to the faces of cancer patients. Their infectious energy transformed the room, creating an atmosphere of happiness and hope. Despite the challenges these patients are facing, the experience was filled with laughter and lightheartedness, showing how vital such moments are in their journey towards recovery. It was a truly heartwarming and cheerful experience, reminding us all of the healing power of laughter.
