Role Description: Do you want to gain an in-depth understanding of the electronic trading business? Are you passionate about solving complex problems? We are looking for young and energetic entry level software engineers to join our Bangalore office and be part of our growing team. The successful candidate will go through an extensive training of financial services domain and latest open source technologies. Essential Skills: Experience with any programming language (Java,C++, C, Python). Must have knowledge of Unix/Linux based O/S Applications. Experience working with Databases on writing basic SQL queries- Oracle/SQL. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexible to work in multi time zones (HK/EU/US hours). Quick learner with strong attention to details and ability to think outside the box. Strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities. Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills. Desired Skills: Scripting knowledge in one of the following languages Shell/Perl/Python. Previous experience with any OMS/EMS product would be a plus. Knowledge of FIX Protocol would be a big plus. Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, understanding of TCP/IP concepts. Exposure to any of the following asset classes: Equities, Futures and Options. Previous experience in developing tooling & processes to drive efficiencies. Previous experience with Jira for project tracking, confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing.
