The School of Law at the SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRM IST Chennai), Kattankulathur, successfully hosted the inaugural ceremony of the "Centre for Social Justice." The event was organised as a part of the celebration of International Women's Day 2025, under the theme "For All Women and Girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment."  The ceremony was graced by distinguished speakers Dr.Kannegi Packianathan, IAS (Retd.), Former Principal Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Dr. N. R. Nappinnai, Professor of Psychology at Meenakshi Medical College and Research Institute, Kanchipuram.
