Through this partnership, Sunsure will provide 6 million units of renewable energy annually to RACL’s manufacturing facility in Gajraula, helping the company meet over 40% of its energy needs from clean, sustainable sources and offset 4,300 metric tonnes of CO2e annually. As RACL continues to lead by example in the automotive components sector, Sunsure is proud to support their transition towards a greener, more cost-efficient energy future. Jitender Jain, CFO of RACL Geartech, stated, “Partnering with Sunsure Energy is a significant step towards achieving our ESG goals. By integrating renewable energy into our operations, we are not only reducing our carbon footprint but also setting a benchmark in the manufacturing industry for sustainable practices. In a recent Mint article by Nehal Chaliawala, titled “Cheaper clean power begins to show up in corporate earnings,” Kartikeya Sharma, Co-Founder and CBO of Sunsure Energy, shared insights on the growing role of renewable energy in reducing operational costs for industries. He highlighted how many companies are now sourcing up to 75% of their energy through open access solar, wind, and storage, with long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) enabling businesses to lock in fixed, lower energy prices for up to 25 years, offering significant savings compared to grid prices. Today, on the festival of Diwali, our“Sunsure Team” visited The Earth Saviours Foundation, an NGO in Haryana. We saw hundreds of people who had been abandoned by their families and society, many of whom had no one left to care for them. Each person had a unique story - stories of kindness, hardship, and resilience, stories of mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters. Hearing these stories brought home the reality of their suffering, the kind that brings tears to your eyes. It reminded us of the privilege we often take for granted - the ability to go where we wish, to share our struggles with loved ones. Sadly, not everyone is as fortunate, especially those in orphanages and old-age homes. One particularly heartbreaking story was that of a young boy from a wealthy family. Diagnosed with multiple brain tumors, he couldn’t walk or speak, and his parents abandoned him when his condition became incurable. I also met an elderly mother in her seventies; her son, who holds a prominent position in Germany, has a home in Delhi but refuses to let her live there. Though she smiled while talking with me, her eyes told a different story. Who should we hold accountable for such heartbreaking realities? Is it the education system, western influences, parental values, or society itself? Sunsure Energy

It is believed that Dhanteras is celebrated to honor Lord Dhanvantari, the god of health, who emerged during the Samudra Manthan with the Amrit to restore the health of the gods, allowing them to defeat the demons and maintain harmony in the universe. This lore makes us realize the importance of clean and renewable energy in healing our planet, which is in a dire state, and preserving our environment for both present and future generations. We also worship Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and fortune, on this day, seeking her blessings for wealth, health and happiness. On the occasion of World Sustainability Day, we’d like to turn back to the inspiring moment of the recent Times Now Global Sustainability Alliance SDG Summit, where our Founder and CEO, Shashank Sharma, delivered a keynote address, titled: "Powering a Billion Dreams: Making India's Power Move." From the Gandhian principle to Charles Dickens' philosophy, from the Bhagavad Gita shlok to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas" mission, his speech interwove diverse sustainability narratives, drawing on various ideologies and beliefs. He began his speech with the most visible dichotomy of our lives - Economic Growth and Sustainability. He went on to emphasize the importance of integrating economic growth with sustainability through dynamic regulatory frameworks, especially in the Indian context. He also highlighted forward-looking solutions, like the EU CBAM scheme, as guiding principles for embedding sustainability into the cost of doing business. With this achievement, we have commissioned over 100 MWp of solar capacity in the state within the past year.
