India has lost a loved son in Padma Vibhushan Ratan Naval Tata, who played a pioneering and leading role in forging an indelible global footprint for Indian businesses as he grew and led the USD 165 billion Tata Group with grace, fortitude, commitment to excellence and unparalleled principles of morality. His business empire ranged from salt to software, from steel to travel, from aerospace to finance, covering every aspect of life. He also ignited and impacted millions of minds. BCC&I will remember this Titan of a Man as someone who led by setting examples, emphasized on innovation by doing it himself and lived by the principles of philanthropy. Ratan Naval Tata has left us all with deep lessons in business ethos and we can only hope to implement these robust learnings in our services. Adieu to our Man of Steel!
