Uno Minda has proudly wrapped up the 5th edition of its technical campus contest, 𝗨𝗡𝗢 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗦 𝟱.𝟬, an initiative designed to honor and reward the technical talents of emerging engineers as part of our Campus Connect Program. The contest saw remarkable engagement, attracting 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟵,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲. Participants registered through their colleges and LinkedIn and took part in an online exam conducted across all campuses. We are thrilled to award prize money to the top 3 scorers: Rs. 1 lakh, Rs. 50 thousand, and Rs. 25 thousand, respectively. Additionally, the top 100 students will receive merit certificates. After completing my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, I joined Uno Minda Limited in July 2018 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at the 2W Switch Hosur plant. This opportunity has been a transformative experience. My journey started with a comprehensive training and induction program at the Paathshala, where I was introduced to the company’s rich culture and Systems. Adapting to the new environment initially posed challenges, but with the help and guidance of my seniors, I managed to adapt and thrive. During my first year, I gained invaluable cross-functional experience by working on various improvement projects in Supply Chain Management. Later, I transitioned to the Production Engineering department as a Senior Executive, where I honed my technical and behavioral skills. In the year 2022, I had the opportunity to relocate to the NCR region and join the Corporate Strategy Department, where I was promoted to Assistant Manager and worked closely with top management, which enhanced my managerial, presentation, and communication skills. Recently, I was promoted to Deputy Manager and joined the Central Assessment & Support Team (CAST). This role has provided me with diverse learning opportunities in Manufacturing, EHS, HR, Finance, and Materials, along with invaluable guidance from subject matter experts and top leadership. My journey with Uno Minda has been truly inspiring. The company offers a supportive, growth-oriented environment that has enriched my professional and personal life. I am deeply grateful to top management, my seniors, and my colleagues for their unwavering support and look forward to their continued guidance as I strive to achieve future milestones.
