🚨 AI Launch Announcement: Exciting Update for Financial Institutions! Ever felt the pain of ineffective customer calls, poor customer experience and rising operational costs? We did too at Velocity. We figured that 60-70% of the work involves basic follow-ups and query resolution, which can actually be made 10X better using GenAI. That's why we created Vani AI, India’s first AI-based interactive calling solution for financial institutions 🚀 💡 Why Vani AI? - Higher Operational Efficiency: Put routine tasks like data collection, collections calling and sales qualification on auto pilot. - Human-Like Conversations: Vani speaks naturally, understands multiple Indian languages, and provides personalized, contextual responses in real-time. - Response accuracy: Vani gets trained on your organization's specific processes, policies, past call logs and real-time customer context for precise interactions. - Seamless Integration: Easily integrates with CRMs, calendars, and sends actionable next steps via Email/WhatsApp. - Human Agent Handover: Seamlessly passes the call to a human agent if needed or upon customer request. While many leaders acknowledge that GenAI will disrupt customer conversations, it is non-trivial to create a solution that can fully replace IVR and a large chunk of human calling too. Thanks to our team's hard work, we've solved multiple technical challenges (like local language understanding, interruption handling, background noise removal, and super low latency) resulting in a product that.. just works! Check out the live call below! 🤩 We've seen promising results using Vani AI internally, and we see the clear potential to transform our own customer calls into efficient, standardized, and cost-effective interactions. However, we figured that Vani's impact can be manifold higher if we productize it and make it available to other companies too. If you are keen to leverage Vani AI for your organization or just brainstorm about leveraging GenAI, we would love to chat! Drop a comment below or join our waitlist (link in comments) 👇 Please help us spread the word by liking / sharing this in your networks! 🙏 #GenAI #CustomerExperience #Innovation #FinancialServices #VaniAI #Velocity

This month’s Velocity’s D2C hero shines on Ashmeet Kapoor , the founder of I Say Organic.  A visionary who dreams of a future where organic food is not a luxury but a way of life in India. His story is about redefining an industry and inspiring others to believe in the possibilities of a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable way of life. Ashmeet left his career in clean energy to dive into the world of organic farming—a decision that would change the landscape of organic food accessibility in the country. When Ashmeet founded ‘I Say Organic,’ with a passion for sustainable living and a first-hand understanding of the challenges farmers face, it wasn’t just about selling products; it was about bridging the gap between farmers and consumers. He knew the struggle from both ends: the farmers who toil yet barely make ends meet, and the urban consumers who crave genuine organic food but often face scepticism and supply issues. His mission was to empower farmers and assure consumers of authenticity. Ashmeet spent nearly a year researching organic farming. He lived in a small village in eastern Uttar Pradesh, where he worked directly with farmers, gaining insights into their struggles, and the untapped potential of organic agriculture. This ground-level engagement shaped his commitment to supporting farmers and promoting organic farming as a sustainable livelihood. With an initial investment of INR 50 lakh, funded by his family, Ashmeet launched ‘I Say Organic’ in March 2012, starting with a modest website that offered products directly sourced from farmer groups. Orders grew from just 10 a day to 50, and the business quickly scaled to monthly revenues of INR 10 lakh. Kapoor’s hands-on approach, building cold storage, refining the supply chain, and understanding consumer needs, helped propel the company to an annual turnover of INR 5 Crores. By connecting farmers to the market and educating consumers about the value of organic produce, Ashmeet created a movement and laid the foundation for a more sustainable food ecosystem. His efforts turned ‘I Say Organic’ into a trusted name in the National Capital Region (NCR), setting the stage for future growth across India. #FarmToTable #OrganicRevolution #SupportFarmers  #SustainableLiving

Paid social ads can be highly effective for D2C brands in reaching targeted audiences, driving traffic, and generating conversions. The ability to segment audiences and deliver personalized messages has made social ads a go-to channel for many brands. This dependency is making them dependent and subsequently vulnerable, given the: Rising Ad Costs: As competition increases on social platforms, ad costs tend to rise. This can significantly impact customer acquisition costs (CAC) and profitability, especially for brands that have built their entire strategy around paid social. Algorithm Changes: Social media platforms frequently update their algorithms, which can affect the visibility of ads and organic content. Brands that rely heavily on these platforms can find themselves facing sudden drops in reach and engagement, leading to unpredictable performance. Limited Diversification: Many brands neglect other marketing channels in favour of paid social ads. This lack of diversification makes them susceptible to fluctuations in performance. Psychological Dependence: The psychological dependency of brands on these platforms can lead to a reluctance to discuss challenges openly, as brands fear losing credibility or appearing weak in front of competitors or investors. Long-Term Sustainability: To ensure long-term sustainability, brands need to build a well-rounded marketing strategy that includes multiple channels to ensure consistent customer acquisition and brand growth. Velocity offers insights into how D2C brands can diversify their marketing channels and reduce reliance on paid social ads. Read on! #MarketingStrategy #OmnichannelMarketing #BusinessGrowth #BrandStrategy
