Responsible for Technical support for Sales & Marketing team and contribute as a world class technical expertise
Position Summary
Responsible for product design, application development, technical assistance & manufacturing development for Plain Bearing products. Represents technical link between Customer & Internal functions (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Quality, R&D & Manufacturing).
Key Responsibilities
Manage & interpret customer requirements and work with internal functions (Sales, Production, Quality, R&D & Engineering) to generate technical proposals.
Develop new or innovative designs in particular application field, making prototypes and demonstrating the application time-to-time to existing and potential users.
Identify original/new applications or redesign applications across the market segment.
Support customized product design & developments for customers.
Drive the development of new products and their transition to regular production.
Work with the Operations team to ensure development schedules & deliveries are being met.
Develop database that substantiates the value proposition of product to customers.
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how our products meet customer needs.
Should be able to highlight the technical merits of one product over another, and do so convincingly.
Identifying and highlighting possible new customer leads and business areas.
Finalizing and maintaining company marketing and sales material for new and updated products.
Making recommendation for the direction of the company’ sales and marketing strategy.
Feeding back market demands and intelligence to the sales and marketing teams.
Generating values for both customers and company by researching and applying tailored solutions to meet customers' commercial and technical needs.
Coach sales force in application of technical services to continuously improve the overall technical competency of company.
Maintaining records of customer communication & development activity in our CRM.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing
professional
publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Co-ordinate with internal teams for new developments, proto builds, technical proposals, PPAP and Quality documents, 8D responses, customer Audits etc. Support the customer service in addressing customer complaints.

Experience in customer facing functions.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
Knowledge and experience of APQP & New Product Development methodologies.
Proficient in SolidWorks, latest MS-Office tools, CRM, web usage & web-based tools.
