INTRODUCING THE NEW “APREMARE REFIT” DIVISION During a Press event at the Genoa Boat Show, Apreamare announced the establishment of the "Apreamare Refit" division. The new business unit was created in response to numerous requests over the years from shipowners who expressed the need for a refit and extraordinary maintenance service directly managed by the shipyard. Apreamare Refit will be dedicated exclusively to Apreamare boats, a unique breed in the nautical world, built with know-how that only Apreamare workers have in depth. The beating heart of Apreamare Refit will be a warehouse of over 3,000 square meters, located within the main production site in Torre Annunziata. This cutting-edge facility will accommodate up to five boats at the same time for a complete range of restoration and modernization operations. The division, operational since September 1st, 2024, is equipped to meet the needs of the entire Apreamare fleet, which numbers approximately 2,000 boats worldwide. The Apreamare workforce, renowned for its know-how, experience and precision, will rejuvenate the boats with a full range of services, ranging from teak deck replacement and painting, to changing the upholstery and indoor/outdoor covers and upgrading the navigation systems and on-board systems. Each service will be rendered with the goal of maintaining and increasing the value of the boats while ensuring greater comfort, efficiency and safety during navigation. "Take your gozzo to the the boatyard that built it to restore it to its original splendor" is the motto that guides Apreamare Refit. This one-of-a-kind service is reserved exclusively for Apreamare boats, representing the continuity in tradition and quality that the shipyard has always offered. APREAMARE CELEBRATES A NEW COMPANY MILESTONE WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW FLAGSHIP MAESTRO 88, THE LARGEST VESSEL EVER BUILT BY THE SHIPYARD Apreamare is pleased to announce that on Saturday August 3rd, 2024, a launch ceremony was held where the new Maestro 88 touched the sea for the first time. The private celebration was attended by the Owner, an Italian repeated Client and brand enthusiast who wanted to build a full custom Navetta. The owner brought his family and expressly requested the attendance of all the craftsmen and suppliers who contributed with passion, precision and dedication to the realization of this fascinating and ambitious project - in addition to the Apreamare management. The traditional christening ritual sealed the launch to the notes of the Mameli anthem, a song chosen to represent the essence of the all-Italian project, which proudly represents Made in Italy for the world to see. The ceremony was a moment of great emotion for both the Owner and the shipyard, testifying the latest, remarkable company milestone. Maestro 88 The brand new Maestro 88 represented a new challenge for the Sorrentine shipyard, for the architect Marco Casali and for the engineer Umberto Tagliavini. It is a totally custom-built vessel with a semi-planing hull that maintains the family feeling of the previous Maestro line while introducing significative stylistic and functional innovations. 27.10 meters long and 7 meters wide with a draft of 1.80 meters and a displacement at full load of 90 tons, the Maestro 88 is powered by two 1,650 horsepower MAN engines, capable of reaching a maximum speed of 22 knots and a range of 1,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. The owner of the first unit opted for more powerful 2,000 horsepower engines, perfectly balancing weight and power for long-range navigation in absolute comfort. The exterior lines integrate perfectly with the bright interiors and large living spaces, which include a large beach club and a long sliding glass window on the main deck to bring the sea even closer. On the flybridge, there is a “sky lounge”, a galley with a wet-bar and solar panels to power onboard appliances. The interiors are completely customizable, available in configurations of up to four cabins and ample space for entertainment, all aimed at a superior quality of life on board, especially for long-range cruises. "The yard takes its styling cues from the indigenous ‘gozzo’ fishing boats of the Bay of Naples, so its craft are not only extraordinarily beamy but also impressively dry, thanks to those traditional virtues, a raked stem and a flared bow. Not a drop came aboard! And this is a 40-knot boat. Well, almost. The 35 is available with a panoply of power plants including shafts and sterndrives—the only option lacking is a sailing rig—but outboards were a first for Apreamare, and they didn’t take any chances. Twin 400-horsepower Verados might seem to err on the side of overkill, but they work well, being supernaturally quiet and also reasonably economical, if you remember to throttle back once in a while.
