📢📢 Fossil fuel exporters to Europe are eyeing participation in the inevitable European green transition!🛢 🤝 I recently had the privilege of speaking at the ISIA - Italian Institute for Asia, where we had an insightful panel discussion on the role of Europe's historical energy partners, particularly Azerbaijan, in European energy security, the energy transition, and their envisioned roles in a post-2050 Net Zero Europe. 🇦🇿🇪🇺 Here are some key takeaways from the panel: ✅It was fascinating to see the awareness that while natural gas will continue to be a transitional energy source, major energy exporters to Europe acknowledge the need for a shift from being solely fossil fuel exporters to playing a more critical role in the European green transition. 🎯 ✅There is a growing focus on alternative fuel production projects, specifically green hydrogen and renewable energy, electrical interconnection and integrating renewable sources into electricity grids, whether through capital participation in European projects or by developing projects domestically and exporting green outputs to Europe. 🎯 ✅Representing Arxax, I highlighted our efforts in addressing the green transition in road transport—one of the famously hard-to-abate sectors where green hydrogen and electricity are expected to play major roles. 💧⚡ ✅While the implementation of fiscal incentives at the European level, and specifically in Italy under the post-Covid recovery plan, PNRR, remains critical, the fast roll-out of these projects requires extensive capital investment. A significant part of this investment can be provided by historic fossil fuel exporters to Europe, allowing them to secure their future role as key energy partners.🤝🎯 I would like to thank ISIA and specifically Senator Sergio Divina for inviting Arxax to participate in this important discussion.🙌 I am particularly excited to continue these conversations with stakeholders to accelerate the future of greener and cleaner European transport and logistics.🌟 #EnergyTransition #GreenHydrogen #SustainableTransport #EuropeanEnergySecurity #ISIA #Arxax #NetZero2050 #PNRR
