Vita Life: Innovation Beyond Fabric With Vita Life, Carvico redefines the boundaries of textile innovation, showing that to innovate is to anticipate the future by integrating increasingly sustainable fibers into its production cycle. More than just a fabric, Vita Life represents a significant step forward in developing a supply chain driven by ever-higher sustainability standards, through groundbreaking solutions. Today, Vita Life emerges as the result of introducing a new LYCRA® elastomer fiber, made with 70% bio-based material. Now, industrially-used dent corn becomes the new bio-derived resource. This fiber shows that innovation can go beyond the product itself, incorporating responsible resource choices and advanced industrial processes. The corn used comes from regenerative agriculture, which combines agricultural traditions with cutting-edge scientific techniques. With sustainable nutrient management and crop rotation practices, the soil is enriched and preserved, bringing innovation from the fields to advanced fabrics. This new elastomer offers the same performance as traditional fibers while meeting rigorous sustainability standards. Vita Life’s color palette, free from metals and bisphenol, is the result of continuous research into finishes without harmful chemicals, replaced with renewable raw materials. With Vita Life, Carvico strengthens its commitment to a sustainable future, demonstrating that innovation itself is the driving force behind responsible fashion and sportswear. The future of Carvico is here, and it is rooted in sustainability. #Carvico #VitaLife #InnovazioneSostenibile #TessutiTecnici #ModaResponsabile www.carvico.com

Quality and Service: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow. Quality and service are fundamental pillars for Carvico, tangible and concrete values stemming from a meticulous attention to detail and a constant pursuit of perfection. These are the strengths that our clients, located around the world, continue to recognize in us, ensuring the excellence that has always set us apart. Efficiency is at the core of every phase of our activity. From the precision of delivery times to consulting on specific aspects such as fabric treatments, every step of the production process and our relationship with customers is geared toward the highest quality of service. Our commitment to excellence begins from the very start of the production cycle and involves all actors in the process. Carvico’s operators carefully monitor every stage of production, promptly identifying even the slightest irregularity that could compromise the quality of our fabrics. This approach is made possible through the use of advanced technologies and sophisticated inspection tools, allowing us to perform rigorous and precise checks. Our standard requires that every meter of fabric undergo careful monitoring before being cleared for delivery. At Carvico, we adopt a dual control system, both visual and physical/chemical, to ensure the absolute compliance of our fabrics. First, the fabric is inspected visually through a specialized machine to identify any defects. Then, in our quality control laboratory, certified by external bodies, physical and chemical tests are conducted to assess its technical and qualitative performance. The main parameters analyzed include: -Elasticity and weight; -Color fastness to light and washing; -Resistance to pilling and abrasion; -UV protection. Each test is performed in compliance with international standards, ensuring that our fabrics not only meet the highest technical and regulatory criteria, but also respond flexibly to the specific needs of every client. For Carvico, quality is not limited to meeting technical standards. It also means understanding and adapting to our clients' expectations, with a service that makes our reliability and flexibility a distinctive feature. #carvico #fabrics #Elasticsolidity  #quality www.carvico.com

Revolution in Water Treatment: Advanced Technology and Sustainability in Our Homogenization Plant. In full compliance with European regulations, we have operated an homogenization plant for several years, designed to pretreat water before it is sent to the consortium purifier. This state-of-the-art system ensures effective preliminary treatment, improving the quality of the water that reaches the final purification stage. Additionally, we have implemented a sophisticated system for separating rainwater from domestic and industrial water, further contributing to the sustainable management of water resources. The water used in our production processes in Carvico comes from local wells and is integrated into four distinct production cycles. Once its use in the various cycles is completed, the water is directed to our internal homogenization plant. Here, through a meticulous equalization process, the water is prepared for subsequent transfer to the consortium purifier. At this stage, the water undergoes a complex chemical-physical-biological treatment, which completely purifies it before it is reintroduced into the river. Our commitment to environmental sustainability is reflected not only in our compliance with current regulations but also in the adoption of innovative technologies and the constant optimization of our production processes. In one year, we recover and reuse 658,941 cubic meters of water, equivalent to the annual needs of approximately 9,700 people. #carvico #fabrics #watercycle #sustainability www.carvico.com

Every year, our company soccer tournament represents a special occasion to strengthen team spirit and share moments of leisure. This year, we had the pleasure of celebrating the 26th edition of the tournament, a milestone that testifies to our dedication to this much-loved tradition. But our soccer tournament is much more than just a sports competition. Alongside the matches, we organized a series of educational workshops for children in collaboration with Healthy Seas. These workshops aimed to raise awareness among the younger generation about the importance of environmental sustainability and protecting our seas. Through interactive and fun activities, the children learned about the issue of marine pollution and the importance of recycling and respecting the ecosystem. The dinner, concluding the day, was a perfect moment to relax, exchange impressions about the day, and strengthen bonds between colleagues. Music accompanied the evening. Carvico and Healthy Seas: A Collaboration to Save the Seas and Regenerate the Future. For several years, Carvico has been committed to supporting the "Healthy Seas" initiative, which aims to reduce marine litter through the recovery and recycling of abandoned materials. Founded in 2013 by Aquafil, Star Sock, and the NGO Ghost Diving, the initiative's primary goal is to clean global waters of marine pollution, including harmful ghost nets that contribute to the death of numerous marine inhabitants. Additionally, HEALTHY SEAS operates on two other fronts: It actively collaborates with fishing communities to implement preventive actions against pollution caused by unused fishing nets, seeking sustainable solutions for their disposal, both environmentally and economically. It conducts educational programs aimed at raising awareness about the importance of responsible ecological choices. The recovered fishing nets, along with other marine litter such as fluff and tulle, are sent to Aquafil SpA's regeneration plant. Here, through an advanced recycling process, these materials are transformed into ECONYL®, a new polyamide yarn that maintains the same high performance and quality as virgin polyamide, but without using non-renewable fossil raw materials. Here are the latest updated data for the year 2023: 355 active field days in 20 countries, 98 days of educational events, 550 volunteer divers, 1250 fishermen and fish farmers, 86.5 tons of waste, Since 2013: 991 tons of fishing nets and other marine debris, equivalent to the weight of 6.4 Blue Whales.
