#CODESYS – What also matters 💡 Barbecue, cool drinks, pleasant conversations – we had a lot of fun at the CODESYS Summer Party! 🍹 Even a huge thunderstorm couldn't spoil our mood. 😉 As part of our get-together, we honored colleagues who have been with our company for 10 or more years. This year we even had 5 co-workers who have been part of CODESYS for 25 years - a moving experience! 🫶🏼 And there was another reason to celebrate: our 30th company anniversary! 🎉 As a surprise for Dieter, Manfred, and Hilmar, we prepared a song with many verses that the departments had written themselves. In a quiz, our CEOs had to prove how well they know the company's history. As a reward for them and all of us, a birthday cake was served at the end. 🎂 Cheers, to another 30 years of CODESYS! 🥂🎉

🚀 New CODESYS Automation Server version released! 🚀 The new release of the Automation Server comes with lots of really useful features that you wished for. These include: ⭐ File management ⭐ Use the Automation Server to easily exchange files between remote PLCs and clients. You can now exchange one or more files between devices directly via the browser of your client device. When transferring multiple files from a PLC to a client, they are automatically packed as a zip archive. You can also create new folders or delete files as required. A special highlight: You can even enter file paths as free text and thus have the option of using $placeholders$. 🤩 ⭐ Renewal of expired Edge Gateway certificates ⭐ You can now establish a temporary connection between Edge Gateways and the Automation Server despite an expired certificate. This temporary connection can only be used to create a new certificate, which is then used to establish a new, fully functional connection. ⭐ Display of user roles ⭐ Each user can now view the user role assigned to them and thus deduce their permissions in the Automation Server. ⭐ Add PLCs even faster ⭐ Adding new PLCs to the Automation Server in the network scan is now even faster than before. The time saved is particularly beneficial when adding a large number of PLCs. ⭐ Additional warnings ⭐ When deploying, starting, stopping, and resetting applications, additional warnings inform you about the effects of the actions. ⭐ New feature tile ⭐ There is an info tile on the start page of the Automation Server with every new release. There you will find the most important new functionalities of the released version.
