Chi siamo
Working Definition Cooperative Culturism is an appreciation of the unique within our ethno-cultural communities, and a desire - a drive - to identify with, engage and benefit from each others' unique perspectives and knowledge. It strives to shape our ever-evolving society towards a civic culture that shares in and benefits from our common values, grounded in the concepts of human rights and sustainability. Vision CoopCulture is a platform for enriching dialogue to further communication, understanding and ultimately strengthen the ties amongst our diverse communities across Canada. Mandate Using an online space and mixed-media storytelling, our mandate is to encourage ongoing and honest discussions with all ethno-cultural groups to foster an inclusive and just future for everyone within Vancouver and Canadian society. Values Our shared values will ultimately come out of a process of inclusive dialogue and community engagement. As a starting point, the values of coop culture are rooted in: human rights; sustainability; equity; respect; education; and open democracy.
