𝑵𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒍 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒐: orientare i giovani verso il mondo marittimo ⚓ Anche quest’anno abbiamo avuto il piacere di partecipare a Navigare il Futuro, il progetto di #orientamento scolastico organizzato dall'Autorità Portuale di Genova con la CAPITANERIA DI PORTO GENOVA, per avvicinare gli studenti alle opportunità di carriera nel settore crocieristico 🛳️ 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐧𝐚, 𝟏𝟏 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐳𝐨 📍 Oltre 80 studenti degli istituti nautici, turistici, linguistici e alberghieri della provincia hanno partecipato alla giornata presso il Palacrociere. Con noi i #colleghi Davide Mazzino e Francesca Godano, che hanno illustrato le opportunità di lavoro a bordo delle nostre navi. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚, 𝟏𝟗 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐳𝐨 📍 A Palazzo San Giorgio, abbiamo incontrato 60 #studenti degli istituti Deledda, Montale e Firpo, con il contributo di Francesca Godano e Federica Giammarioli (MSC), per raccontare la realtà del lavoro a bordo e le prospettive di crescita nel settore. Un'occasione perfetta per collaborare in maniera sinergica per il futuro dei giovani. 𝐋𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐢 𝐝𝐢 𝐜𝐡𝐢 𝐜’è 𝐠𝐢à 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨 🎤 Gli studenti hanno ascoltato le #testimonianze dirette di chi ha completato il percorso ITS con l’Fondazione Accademia Italiana della Marina Mercantile, oltre ai racconti di chi è già stato in visita nave. Perché il modo migliore per immaginare il proprio futuro è ascoltare chi lo sta già vivendo! Il percorso si concluderà con #visite a bordo per tutti i partecipanti, per scoprire da vicino la vita su una nave da crociera e le tante professionalità coinvolte 🔜 Un ringraziamento speciale a Leonardo Picozzi per l’organizzazione, a Roberto Orsi per la presentazione dell’evento e a tutti coloro che hanno reso possibile questa iniziativa 📢 Continuiamo a navigare verso il futuro 🌊

Growing up by the sea, listening to stories from the bridge, and dreaming that one day, you’d be there too 💭 For Alberto, that dream has set sail: today he is a 3rd Officer and has embarked on his journey, following in the footsteps of his father, Giulio, a Captain aboard Costa 🔱 👨✈️ Giulio Valestra, Captain: "There is no greater joy for a father than seeing his son follow in his footsteps and pursue the same career. With immense pride and happiness, I celebrate his first major achievement: passing his exams and earning the rank of 3rd Officer. Lo scorso venerdì si è tenuta la cerimonia di apertura dell’anno accademico 2024/2025 dell’Università degli Studi di Genova che ha visto la partecipazione delle più alte rappresentanze cittadine e regionali ospitate presso l’ex chiesa San Salvatore situata nel suggestivo centro storico di Genova 🎓🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Durante la cerimonia il nostro Presidente Mario Zanetti ha avuto l’onore di tenere la #LectioMagistralis intitolata “Genova, il mare, le sue rotte. Le sfide, il futuro, il viaggio come metafora e come meta”. Proprio il #viaggio è stato il filo conduttore dell’intervento che per Zanetti significa: “Passione e determinazione, unicità, e quindi innovazione, accettare le sfide e cogliere le opportunità, e infine divertimento, sia nella sua etimologia sia nell’estensione del concetto, ovvero assaporare, vivere appieno quello che si sta facendo.” Ad maiora a tutte le studentesse e tutti gli studenti per il loro viaggio fatto di nuove opportunità, sfide e crescita personale. Costa awarded in the Emirates 🏅🇦🇪 On the occasion of the second edition of the #EmiratesCeremonyAward held at the Emirates Headquarters Auditorium in Dubai, our Company was awarded in recognition of outstanding sales performance for the FY 2024! Flavio Ghiringhelli, Country Manager Emirates Italy, and Thierry Aucoc, SVP Commercial Operations Europe and Americas awarded Daniel Caprile, VP Pricing & Revenue Management, Itinerary and Transportation, who said: “It was an honor and exciting to receive for the 2nd time in a row this #recognition in such an important audience and from one of the most important operators in the global airline industry, which makes the quality of service and attention to the customer one of its strengths, as we do. Moreover, Flavio Ghiringhelli mentioned our Company as an example of #innovation, having opened the Emirates destination in 2006 as the first cruise operator, and as an example of seriousness, having always completed the commitments made over many years of collaboration."
