Advancing High-Throughput Imaging: Expanding Capabilities at ETH Zurich's Single Cell Facility 🎤 At the D-BSSE SINGLE CELL FACILITY, Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, Dr. Tom T. A. Lummen emphasizes the importance of hands-on training and matching the appropriate microscopy modality to each research question. 🔬 Scientific achievement for the team involved in the ivBM-4PAP research project! 🧪 In Martinez‑Vidal et al, 2024, published in Scientific Reports, by using a Brillouin microscopy approach, the research team explored mechanical alterations in the murine bladder wall, highlighting how tissue fibrosis affects the organ's elasticity. The Brillouin technique allows for the non-invasive, label-free mapping of tissue mechanics, opening up new possibilities for clinical diagnostics.
