The Davines Group begins its journey in Parma in 1983, with the Bollati family's idea of establishing a laboratory for the production of high end hair products. After a decade of research and improvement the company decides to focus on its own brands by launching from scratch Davines and [comfort zone] brands, the first one dedicated to the professional hairdressing, the other one to the skin care spas and treatments market. Today the Davines Group is present in 95 countries and employs a multicultural team spanning 34 different nationalities and in 2016 had become a member of the group of so-called B Corps, whose purpose, in addition to profit, is maximizing their positive impact by providing innovative solutions to environmental and social issues whilst respecting the highest standards of performance, transparency and accountability. Besides the Parma headquarters, we have branches in New York, Paris, London, Mexico, Netherland, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Düsseldorf. Davines Group is now a recognized leader in the formulation and manufacturing of high end skin and hair care products. Davines style is a reflection of curiosity and openness to the world and of the Italian heritage of history, art, design and good taste.     🍏 Good nutrition plays an essential role in our lives. Feeding our bodies with good and nutritious #food is essential for our wellbeing. At the same time, we are aware of the environmental responsibility we have: that's why we only use seasonal and organic ingredients, many of which come from small and local farms, in our kitchen at the #DavinesGroupVillage.     📍Today, for the third stop of our #DavinesGroupVillageTour, we take you inside our Test Space.  🥼 Here a team of 5 experienced and enthusiastic people, carries out a fundamental task: carefully testing and evaluating all the #Davines formulas before products are launched on the market.  🧪 Whenever the Marketing Department comes up with an innovative idea for a new product, the R&D department immediately gets to work in our labs and starts experimenting new formulas. Once they're happy with the result, the formula is then delivered to the Test Space, where the product is examined and tested on panelists. Tests are then followed by a series of back-and-forth exchanges between the lab and the test space and multiple reformulations, until the perfect balance between high performance and #sustainability standards are reached.  🌱 This process can take months, even years in some cases, and it shows how crucial teamwork and collaboration are for our growth, while taking care of ourselves and the world we live in.  #DavinesGroup #DavinesGroupRegeneration #DavinesGroupPeople #DavinesGoodLifeForAll #BCorp

    As a #BCorp, our goal at the Davines Group is always to drive change, creating awareness on environmental issues and inspiring everyone to live more sustainably. With this goal in mind, this year, #DavinesMexico has launched two great initiatives. ♻️ Together with local NGO Banco de Tapitas A.C., special containers designed to collect plastic caps from single use bottles have been installed at the Davines México offices and at distributor's offices. This can reduce plastic waste and support local communities, as caps are then sold as raw materials and profits are donated to support cancer patients in need. 🌾 For their second inspiring initiative, our Mexican offices and local distributors have collaborated with fellow B Corp BUNA to create small kits including Davines products, as well as a jar of honey and a chocolate bar, to create stronger connections with local B Corps and encourage everyone to make more conscious purchasing decisions.     🌻 The #EROC fields located directly across the street from our Davines Group Village have turned into a spectacular sea of yellow, as beautiful #sunflowers have started to bloom over the past month.  ☀️ With their vibrant yellow petals, sunflowers are the ultimate emblem of happiness and joy. But it is not only due to their colour that they have always been associated with the sun: these flowers are heliotropic, meaning that they tend to position themselves towards the sun.  🌼 Sunflowers are grown across 2 hectares of the European Regenerative Organic Center and contribute to promoting #biodiversity and soil health. Their crop residues contain essential nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, which are then returned to the soil. ✨ Beyond their vibrant blooms, sunflowers embody the core ethos of regenerative agriculture and symbolise our commitment to #sustainability and biodiversity, contributing to pave the way towards a brighter and more regenerative future. #DavinesGroup #DavinesGroupRegeneration #BCorp

  • 🌿 This year, the Davines Group is launching 'The Good Farmer Award', the first Italian prize that will be awarded to the two most innovative and advanced regenerative organic agriculture projects with the goal of spreading a new production culture and supporting the ecological transition in agriculture.  A six-member jury lead by President of Fondazione per lo sviluppo sostenibile Edo Ronchi will examine the projects submitted by candidates.   • ☀️ Last week, our Davines Group teams came together to celebrate our #community and our Company during the 2024 #SummerPlenum.  🎤 To kick-start the event, moderators Carlotta Tridenti and Bianca Anastasia Serra called Anthony Molet on stage for an opening speech. Our CEO expressed his gratitude to the 996 people that work at the #DavinesGroupVillage and across all our subsidiaries every day, and presented the group's 2024 strategy, highlighting the company's common objectives and identifying growth opportunities.  🌷 Further speakers addressed our sustainability strategy and all the activities and communication projects that have been planned for the coming years.  💬 To wrap up this special afternoon, Silvana Bollati, Stefania Bollati, and Davide Bollati took a moment to celebrate all colleagues, those that have been with us for the longest and newcomers too, telling them all about how the company was born and reminiscing about all the happy moments that we have lived throughout these years.    🎸 The day ended with a Summer Party full of good food, fun and cheer at our #DavinesGroupVillage, where a group of colleagues entertained the rest of the guests with an exclusive live music performance.  #DavinesGroupRegeneration #DavinesGroupPeople #DavinesGoodLifeForAll #BCorp

  • 👋 At Davines Group, we strongly believe in the importance of welcoming newcomers and doing our best to make them feel a part of our #community right from the start. For this reason we organise collective experiences during the onboarding process of new employees that we call 'The Beginning of Wonder'. 🌍 Last week we had the joy of having over in Parma 18 new colleagues from Paris, London, Hong Kong and many more cities across the world.  Our CEO Anthony Molet, Chairman Davide Bollati, and Board Member Stefania Bollati kicked off this special experience with a breakfast and met every new component of our team in person. The onboarding continued with a tour of our production and logistics department, a meeting with the R&D team and a visit to our EROC centre, together with Research Director Dario Fornara. They also were able to immerse themselves in our culture and explore the city. 💫 We're glad to have you on board and we're so excited for what's to come.   • ⛑️ To celebrate the importance of creating a health and safety culture to reduce the number of work-related injuries, last week we held our 2024 Safety Day.  🦺 Divided into 3 groups, our production, logistics, maintenance, quality control and R&I teams took part in playful activities and group challenges, including resuscitation simulations, safety scavenger hunts, and VR trainings. Immersive exercises like these are a great means to encourage employee interactivity and allow for them to be alerted on the risks and dangers that may occur in the company.  🏆 Activities ended with a prize giving ceremony and a team lunch, to build stronger connections, create memories and share a good dose of laughter.  Thanks to all the participants! #DavinesGroup #DavinesGroupRegeneration #DavinesGroupPeople #DavinesGoodLifeForAll #BCorp #SafetyDay
