A few weeks ago, Michele graduated in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia)! 🎓 During his internship at Deep Vision, he focused on building an innovative pipeline for automatic camera calibration in the sports industry. Moving from traditional point-based methods to more advanced line-based approaches, and by developing custom deep learning models, he improved robustness even in the most challenging scenarios. His work has significant implications for advanced 3D video analysis, particularly in situations where physical access to the camera is limited. We’re delighted that Michele is joining our team after a well-deserved break—welcome aboard!
