💡 Ｆｏｃｕｓ💡 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙜𝙡𝙞 𝘼𝙯𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙞 𝘼𝙫𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙙𝙧𝙤 ⁣ With this post, we open the doors of the historical palace of degli Azzoni Avogadro, a place that holds centuries of history and has been the residence of the Degli Azzoni family, in the heart of Montefano, in the Marche region.⁣ ⁣ Recently, we have 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. ⁣ This palace, which has witnessed the evolution of our land since the 16th century, has been the heart of the Degli Azzoni family’s activities since 1939. ⁣The building's high historical, architectural, and urban value and deep sentimental and familial significance led us to undertake 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. Since 1976, it has been 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲.⁣ The history of the Palazzo degli Azzoni Avogadro is deeply intertwined with Montefano. Once a noble residence and the center of our family’s agricultural activities, the palace has been transformed while preserving its original essence. ⁣ The spaces that once housed wine production, such as the historic barrel cellar, have been restored to serve new purposes, always respecting the original structure. Among the various restoration efforts, we chose to 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, 𝗮 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴'𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻-the entire southern facade channels rainwater into a cistern where it is filtered through layers of natural materials. Once purified, the water is collected in a larger cistern, which can be drawn via a well.
