Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) is key to tracking and combatting foodborne outbreaks. It helps identify the source of the outbreak and the food involved. It also helps assess whether local incidents could escalate into multi-country outbreaks. Together with European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) we use these data to prepare Rapid Outbreak Assessment reports, ensuring swift responses to outbreaks.   🎥 Curious about how this all works?
