Chi siamo

Fassi Gru is a global leader in the manufacture of hydraulic cranes. Established in 1946, the company has gradually increased its value over time, becoming a point of reference on a global scale in lifting technologies. Every Fassi crane has its own design story, features and uniqueness. Every Fassi crane is the result of many ideas that have taken shape thanks to the experience and professionalism of various work teams and ad hoc-devised innovative technologies. Over the past 50 years, the Fassi Group has created more than 120 models of quality, long-lasting cranes and 90% of these were built at the company’s production sites, often inventing new technologies and innovations. Every crane is a guarantee of safety, reliability and quality because each element is subjected to careful verification, testing and simulation inside the company before use The finished product, whether it be a light-duty, medium-duty, heavy-duty cranes, or hydraulic jib extension, is the result of a plethora of studies, research, conception, design, tests and analysis; an iceberg of processes that have enabled us to deliver a quality, safe and high performance product to the market. By focusing on innovation, excellence, quality and safety, it now has a presence in over 60 countries, applying its technologies in a variety of fields: from construction to military, from oil and gas to logistics, from maritime to railways. Fassi Gru is an international company with an Italian heart. Strategy, design and all the manufacturing processes are completely made in Italy, then splitting into the various target markets. The production is organized through 6 independent companies located in Lombardy and Emilia Romagna (northern and central Italy). The 13 self-contained units cover an area of 138,000 m2 (63,300 m2 indoors).

Success stories are often born from a mixture of determination, vision and strategic choices. The June-July 2024 issue of Sollevare magazine recounts the entrepreneurial adventure of Mauro Ceffa, founder of Selt, a leading company that has conquered the European high voltage power line construction sector from Sardinia. It was a journey that has seen Fassi cranes (synonymous with reliability and precision) at the side of his companies. Find out more about how, with the support of Fassi service, these machines have supported Selt's expansion. At the ÉBSZ Gépshow 2024 (the largest event dedicated to construction machinery in Hungary) the link between Fassi and its Hungarian dealer GIF Modul was reaffirmed, represented by the owner and general manager Imre Zoltán (in the middle of the photo). The presence of two important Fassi Gru S.p.A figures, sales director Emilio Bertazzi and area sales manager Alessandro Soncini (pictured on the right and left in the photo), demonstrates the close collaboration of more than twenty years between the Italian brand and its local distributor, under the banner of a shared commitment to bringing innovation and reliability to the lifting sector. Held from 26 to 28 September in Budapest, this fair was a point of reference for those looking for cutting-edge solutions, and GIF Modul was able to represent the relevance of the Fassi brand, offering further demonstration of its strength in the local market.

Born from the fusion of curiosity and vision, Carpenteria Ciesse - Gruppo FASSI Gru S.p.A. is today a laboratory of continuous innovation, where each component becomes part of a state-of-the-art manufacturing process. Since becoming part of the Fassi Group in 1989, Ciesse has transformed its 15,000 square metres into a place of advanced production, processing over 70,000 crane components every year. Bases, outrigger supports, secondary booms, hydraulic and manual telescopic extensions are manufactured here, as well as welded and (in the case of telescopic extensions) painted, supporting every activity of Fassi cranes. Innovations such as the automated bending plant (in operation since 2019) have introduced an automated quality control phase, ensuring even more precise processing. Every component produced by Ciesse becomes an integral part of Fassi cranes, helping to create reliable and innovative solutions to daily lifting challenges. Attention to quality and a constant commitment to technological evolution unite the two companies on their shared course of growth and improvement, where the experience of Ciesse merges with the vision and excellence of the Fassi Group.

Once again, the Fassi calendar brings the creativity of young students to the world. For 2025, 13 students from the Leica Academy in Athens responded enthusiastically to the challenge, presenting over 20 sketches: each one a universe of ideas, dreams and visions. Without an imposed theme, they explored different styles, drawing inspiration from classical art, video games and pop culture. After visiting the Fassi factories, the sketches were transformed into works of art, interpreting the world of cranes with originality. ‘Fassi Crane Art’, now a well-established project, offers students from international photography schools the opportunity to discover the aesthetic and functional characteristics of Fassi cranes, reinterpreting them through the camera lens, with personal points of view and artistic influences. It is a journey through ingenuity and creativity, where every shot tells a story, every image captures a fragment of industrial poetry. Coming soon... The new 2025 calendar will be unveiled!
