The MATTER and SHAPE design salon returned to Paris, bringing a celebration and exploration of contemporary design to the exquisite setting of the Jardin des Tuileries. Flos was delighted to take part, presenting SuperWire by Studio Formafantasma. The family of modular lamps emerged from a multi-year collaboration between thedesigners and the FLOS R&D team as they reimagined functional LED lighting as sculptural works of art. The newly opened ShenYong Lighting in Shanghai’s Tianmantti Showroom becomes the latest store to host its very own Flos Design Space. A custom showroom, it brings the brand’s visionary lighting and philosophy to an ever-growing global audience.

Light inspires emotion: this was the sentiment at the heart of A Conversation with Giovanna Castiglioni, an event recently hosted at the historic Dea illuminazione lighting store in Bastia Umbra. Giovanna, daughter of legendary designer Achille Castiglioni, captivated an audience of architects, designers, engineers and design enthusiasts with an engaging exploration of her father’s extraordinary legacy. Highlights included iconic Flos designs such as the Arco, Taccia, Parentesi, and Snoopy – proving that light truly does inspire emotion.
