In a race in which only a few cross the finish line, we are incredibly proud of the performance put in by Teams de Rooy FPT at Dakar 2025. Powered by our CURSOR 13 engine, the riders and their crews gave their all and achieved amazing results, including a third overall finish for Ales Loprais. Meanwhile, with fifth and eighth overall finishes respectively, Vaidotas Zala earned six podium finishes and Anja van Loon took home a fourth-place stage finish. FPT Industrial has once again established itself as the powertrain selected by the leading teams in the most extreme rally-raid in the world. As the Exclusive Technical Partner of the de Rooy FPT Teams, we powered them across 8,000 kilometers and 12 grueling stages in the Saudi Arabian desert. Once again, they demonstrated incredible strength, determination, and resilience in the face of the world’s most challenging rally. Ales Loprais and his crew secured 3rd place with the IVECO Powerstar, powered by our CURSOR 13 engine, delivering unmatched power, efficiency, and reliability under the harshest conditions.   Vaidotas Zala, a new entry to Skuba Team de Rooy FPT, and Anja Van Loon (Fried Van de Laar Racing Team de Rooy FPT) showcased exceptional skill.   Žala earned six podium finishes, while Van Loon secured a fourth-place stage finish.
