With this upgrade, the turbine's power has been increased from 65MW to an impressive 70MW, achieving an overall weighted efficiency close to 93%. FRANCO TOSI MECCANICA delivers a 44MWe Steam Turbogenerator to U.K.   Franco Tosi Meccanica is proud to announce the successful delivery of a cutting-edge steam turbine to our esteemed client, ACCIONA Industrial, for Enfinium waste-to-energy project in West Bromwich, Birmingham, UK.   The construction of the turbine was completed during the winter season, followed by careful transportation, and lifting into place over the foundation just a few weeks ago. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Accounts Management, maintaining relationships with owners of existing installed machines, while promoting the sales of spare parts, training, and maintenance activities. Receipt of request for quotation, analysis of requests, draft of technical-economic proposal in collaboration with engineering service and costing departments. Commercial negotiation in line with corporate guidelines, order receipt and order entry in ERP system. Support Project manager and follow-up to closure and cash collection. PREREQUISITES: - Negotiation skills and commercial acumen. - Basic technical skills, ability to read technical and assembly drawings and manuals. - Demonstrated experience in an inside sales role focusing on aftersales parts, or an equivalent position. - Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and ERP systems. - English language is prerequisite, second language (Spanish, French, German) would be highly valued. - Preferably, experience or interest in the service and maintenance of rotating equipment. - Preferably, a degree in Engineering or a related field. - Availability for short occasional travels. Exciting Revamp at Isola Serafini Hydroelectric Plant in Piacenza, Italy! We are thrilled to share the successful completion of a significant revamping project by FRANCO TOSI for our esteemed client, ENEL GREEN POWER S.p.A., at the Isola Serafini hydroelectric power station in the province of Piacenza, Italy. The project involved the revamping of two kaplan turbines that harness the power of the Po River. This hydroelectric plant operates with low head, boasting a machine rotation speed of 53rpm and an impeller diameter of approximately 7.5 meters. Thanks to our efforts, the power output of the Kaplan turbines has been increased to 22MW. Photographs below showcases the original turbine, which was originally constructed in 1961, alongside the dedicated team that worked now tirelessly to make this project a resounding success.
