Today we celebrate World Habitat Day, an important time to reflect on the importance of protecting and safeguarding our planet. This year's theme focuses on the need to make our cities increasingly resilient. To do this, it is vital to commit to implementing nature-friendly strategies, comply with European regulations, use technology and actively involve the younger generation. Thanks to our scientific partner 3Bee, we participated in the Biodiversity Oasis project, an initiative that allows us to 'listen' to nature. Using advanced technology, we monitor the oases to gather vital data on the health of the ecosystems and plan regeneration activities where necessary. We are excited to announce our membership in the “A Scuola di Biodiversità” project of 3Bee, a leader in biodiversity protection through technology. After the success of our Biodiversity Oasis, consisting of a smart beehive for biomonitoring, we are ready to take it a step further. Starting in September, for an entire school year, we will support an elementary school in Morimondo through an extraordinary educational journey.     This project includes:  - 9 educational modules illustrating the importance of nature and sustainability.  - Activities and hands-on workshops with the support of experienced beekeepers.  - Adoption of a remote beehive through 3Bee technology.  - Installation of an educational trail consisting of five signs and five wild pollinator houses.  - A dedicated online portal to access educational materials and to monitor the hive.  - Videos and photos directly from the school beekeeper for an immersive experience. These activities will allow children to discover the crucial role of biodiversity and pollinators, learn to give them the value they deserve and become ambassadors for change. We are proud to announce that we have been among the sponsors of Il Parlamento dei Bambini (The Kids’ Parliament) a free summer camp for the children of the Barona neighbourhood in Milan! Organized by the Teatro Linguaggicreativi school and supported by the Municipality of Comune di Milano, the camp provided two weeks of fun and learning for the young participants. Ital G.E.T.E. contributed by providing Loop markers for all the children and all materials for a special workshop led by the Kobra graffiti artist Prosa Bang, who kindly volunteered his time for this wonderful initiative. The camp's theme was the Italian Constitution and the children explored fundamental values such as care, listening, participation and respect. We are #GenerationRestoration': according to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, up to 40% of the planet's land is in a state of degradation. A figure that highlights the need to take concrete action to restore all degraded land.  Thanks to our scientific partner 3Bee, we took part in the 'Oases of Biodiversity' project. Thanks to technology, we can 'listen' to the beat of nature and interpret its signals to understand how to take care of it.  We are monitoring the oases to collect essential data that will help us understand the health of the ecosystems and plan targeted restoration efforts. Thanks to our scientific partner 3Bee, we are proud to be part of the Biodiversity Oases project. These areas are dedicated to the protection of local biodiversity and pollinating insects.  Thanks to 3Bee's advanced technology, these areas are monitored to gather useful data to understand the health of the ecosystems, with the aim of planning targeted regeneration or mitigation measures.
