The PRISMA Lab (Projects of Robotics for Industry and Services, Mechatronics and Automation) operates in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of University of Naples Federico II, where since 35 years is committed to research in robotics and automation. The PRISMA team leads the strategic research program in Robotics of CREATE Consortium (Research Consortium for Energy, Automation and Electromagnetism Technology) since 20 years, and it masters the medical robotics activities of ICAROS Center (Interdepartmental Center for Advances in Robotic Surgery) since 5 years. The team is twinned with PRISCA Lab (Projects of Intelligent Robotics and Advanced Cognitive Systems) of DIETI. Affiliated to PRISMA Lab is Neabotics, an innovative start-up company specialized in the development of service robotic solutions for the inspection and maintenance of infrastructures in the energy and transport sectors. 🔥 Il PRISMA lab e la sua startup NEABOTICS sono state selezionate tra le 30 possibili partecipanti alla prossima competizione internazionale di droni da corsa, la AbuDhabi Autonomous Racing League, che si terrà ogni 6 mesi per i prossimi tre anni. Tre edizioni si terranno ad Abu Dhabi a partire dal prossimo mese aprile, mentre le restanti tre saranno itineranti ed abbinate ad eventi internazionali, come ad esempio le conferenze internazionali sulla robotica ICRA ed IROS. Siamo quindi alla ricerca di studenti volenterosi di cimentarsi in questa appassionante sfida, sia attraverso lavori di tesi/tirocinio, sia in modo volontario. Sono richieste competenze (eventualmente da acquisite) nel campo del Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) basato su reti convoluzionali e della simulazione di sistemi dinamici in ambienti 3D.
