Introducing H142-PRO, the next generation 1420 MHz #radioastronomy receiver with SPIDER #radiotelescopes! The H142-PRO maintains the professional-grade technologies used by #radioastronomers in a user-friendly design, specifically designed for and available only with SPIDER radio telescopes. The H142-PRO provides a superior signal-to-noise ratio to improve capture of faint radio signals from astronomical sources and the new IPA (Integrated Programmable Attenuator) technology that allows to reduce signal by preventing signal saturation when observing strong radio sources like the Sun. H142-PRO receiver improves even more the SPIDER radio telescopes performance to make it the ideal instrument for capturing and studying the radio emissions from numerous sources in the Universe! INTREPID 500-12 5.0m #groundstation antenna system is natively integrated with the Radio2SpaceCom mission control platform that we specifically designed in order to provide you with the easy way to create or expand your ground segment for #spacecommunication! In fact INTREPID 500-12 is already provided with the Radio2SpaceCom APIs to allow developers to effortlessly integrate the operation of INTREPID ground stations into their existing antenna networks or mission control software systems. And it can be used also with the optional Radio2SpaceCom Cloud to let users manage one or multiple INTREPID ground stations remotely and/or the optional Radio2SpaceCom Software to control an INTREPID ground station directly from a Windows, MacOS or Linux computer with a ready to use app. Meet us at "Space Meetings Veneto" conference on May 20-22, 2024 in Venice (Italy) and discover now INTREPID 500-12 in our website https://lnkd.in/dUvaNQUE

SPIDER #radiotelescopes for #radioastronomy education and research are specifically developed by PrimaLuceLab in Italy to explore the Universe at 1420 MHz frequency. 📡 However, diving into the depths of space comes with its challenges. At 1420 MHz, radio interferences can cloud our cosmic observations with artificial radio noise. But our dedicated Installation Team is here to help! 🛠️ Even before you order the SPIDER radio telescope, our team is able to visit you with dedicated instruments and test the installation location. This way we can check for radio interferences and provide you our advise about RFI mitigation. 🌍 Do you want to know more? Visit our dedicated website www.radio2space.com

#SLIM is a small-scale lunar lander designed by JAXA: Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) to precisely land on the Moon surface. SLIM successfully landed on the Moon on January 20 2024 but, since the spacecraft’s solar panels were not facing the intended direction, after spacecraft ran on battery power for several hours, controllers decided to turn it off to allow for a possible recovery of electricity. But on January 28 JAXA team confirmed that they successfully established communication with SLIM and immediately resumed operations: in fact we recorded the signal from SLIM on the Moon surface, with our INTREPID 500-12 5.0m ground station for S/X-band! https://lnkd.in/gbyW9sT7
