Two years ago today, Intuitive Machines signed the agreement to add the Dymon co.,ltd. YAOKI rover to IM-2, our second mission to the Moon. After landing, YAOKI is expected to deploy from Athena to demonstrate Dymon’s lunar mobility technology designed by Dymon Founder and Chief Executive Officer Shinichiro Nakajima. #Space #Artemis #NASA #Japan

2024: A Year to Remember for Intuitive Machines 🚀 This year, we reached for the stars—and landed on the Moon! 🌒 In February, we made history, returning the United States to the Moon for the first time since 1972. But 2024 wasn’t just about the landing. It was about laying the foundation to provide lunar services that unlock the lunar economy.   Highlights include: ⭐ Winning $4.82 billion max value NASA Near Space Network contracts to establish communication and navigation services for missions in the near space region, ⭐ Building on our leadership role in the Artemis campaign by earning a fourth contract under NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services initiative, to deliver payloads to the Moon, and ⭐ Securing a prime contractor position under NASA’s Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services contract and taking the Moon RACER LTV from concept to reality in just four months. We capped off an epic year by completing the LTV’s first round of human-in-the-loop testing just weeks ago. As we prepare for the IM-2 Mission in 2025, we’re proud to be at the forefront of humanity’s return to the Moon, shaping the future of lunar mobility, sustainability, and exploration—on the Moon and beyond.   🌠 Here’s to dreaming big!
