The Athlet's meet is now a regular and long-awaited event among our trail runners.  This year on #Elba Island our athletes had the opportunity to meet, share their seasonal #goals, train and discover the natural beauty of the place. Aurelien Dunand Pallaz, Elisa Desco, the local Matteo Anselmi and about twenty other young runners also had the #opportunity to discover our new models dedicated to their discipline, which will accompany them during the season that is now just around the corner. Special guest, the well-known environmentalist Erik Alhstrom, who invented the discipline of #plogging and organized a session of it with our trail runners. 4 Golds 4 Silvers and 6 Bronzes. SCARPA, thanks to its athletes, is confirmed at the top of the world ski mountaineering scene.  In the snowy mountains of #Morgins in Switzerland our athletes dominated the #WorldChampionships in almost all disciplines in the competition. Congratulations to Emily Harrop (gold) , Ana Alonso Rodriguez (silver) , Marianne Fatton (bronze) Thomas Bussard (bronze), Sarah Dreier (bronze) Jon Kistler (bronze), Laia Selles Sanchez (U20 gold), Davide Magnini (silver) , Lisa Moreschini (silver) Giulia Compagnoni (bronze) Ilaria Veronese (bronze) Xavier Gachet (gold) Samuel Equy (bronze) Matheo Jaquemod (bronze). An honorable mention for Matteo Eydallin who, after a bad injury last season, returned to high levels with a well-deserved fourth place that is as valuable as a medal. Great #achievements that make us proud to support these athletes and this wonderful sport!

Between SCARPA and I Ragni di Lecco, there is a #bond that has grown stronger over the years. Supporting them in their #adventures and climbs is a true #privilege for us, and seeing how far they push their limits is truly #inspiring. Paolo Marazzi, a member of the group since 2014, told us about his trip to Mexico with Simone Pedeferri, Max Piazza, and Gio Ongaro. The heat followed them throughout the #expedition, as they tackled the incredible walls of El Salto, Shamadi, Potrero Chico, El Sentiero Luminoso, and La Popa—a towering 300-meter-high rock face in the desert. Together with some friends from Norrøna Adventures and Petzl we took a wonderful group of enthusiasts and athletes to #Rjukan (Norway), a place that has hosted an Ice #Festival led by a local climbing club since 1993. Norrøna Ice Festival means climbing the icy walls of Rjukan, product testing, presentations, new friends, and so much fun. Four days of #adventures in authentic and flawless sites to practice the #sports we love most. #NoPlaceTooFar

“Trekking in the #Dolpo is a transformative odyssey that defies the ordinary definition of #trekking.” Peter and Cecilia, photographers and travel filmmakers, always in search of breathtaking landscapes and unique adventures, experienced one of the rarest festivals on the planet: The Shey Festival, a celebration held every 12 years in the remote Dolpo region of #Nepal.
