🚨 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 2025 🚨 The refrigeration industry is evolving rapidly, and new EU regulations coming into effect in 2025 will significantly impact the use of refrigerants and energy efficiency standards. Here’s what you need to know: ✅ 𝐁𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐆𝐖𝐏 𝐅𝐥𝐮𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 – From January 1, 2025, the use of fluorinated gases with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) ≥ 2500 will be prohibited for servicing and maintaining refrigeration equipment. The goal? Accelerating the transition to sustainable refrigerants like CO₂. ✅ 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐩 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐅𝐂 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 – Under Regulation (EU) 2024/573, the phase-down of HFCs will take a major step forward, aiming for a full phase-out by 2050. ✅ 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 – From 2025, all new public buildings in the EU must be zero-emission, reinforcing the shift towards sustainable infrastructure. ✅ 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 – By 2025, at least 2% of aviation fuel must come from sustainable sources, supporting the EU’s broader decarbonization strategy. 🔗 Source: European Parliament (EU Regulation A9-2023-0048): https://lnkd.in/dbCXhggB?
