PEOPLE AT SMEG In October, Smeg welcomed new employees from the European subsidiaries. The new colleagues had the opportunity to share ideas and insights, as well as to deepen their knowledge of the company. Among them was Johan Siezenga, Key Account Manager E-commerce who, after experience outside the household appliances sector, got to familiarise himself with Smeg's product portfolio and the customers’ needs and preferences. During his onboarding training he said: ‘As someone with a passion for iconic brands and distinctive products, SMEG was obviously not new to me, but understanding the dedication and hard work that goes into bringing these products to life was truly inspiring.’ This experience underlines Smeg commitment to fostering a company culture of sharing and continuous learning. EUROPEAN ONBOARDING TRAINING The two-day onsite training dedicated to onboarding new members from Smeg’s European branches has just concluded. These sessions not only represent an important opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the company, but also to immerse oneself in the corporate culture and the values that guide the daily work of all our collaborators. During the training, the new colleagues had the chance to visit the headquarters and the main production plants, witnessing firsthand the passion and innovation that define the process behind each product.
