Il secondo e ultimo evento della serie "Dialoghi tra Letteratura e Scienza" partirà dal libro "Le città di carta" di Dominique Fortier che tratteggia la vita di Emily Dickinson partendo dai luoghi in cui la poetessa ha vissuto e che a loro volta l'hanno vissuta, tanto da essere diventati spazi della sua interiorità. L’evento ci porterà a dialogare sulle città quelle dentro di noi, viste come spazio dell’interiorità, e quelle fuori, ovvero i luoghi a cui ci rapportiamo. Ci domanderemo quanto i centri urbani in cui viviamo siano costruiti per accogliere la moltitudine di interiorità umane che li affollano sotto forma di cittadini e se alcune caratteristiche urbane ci hanno mai spinto, a volte, a recluderci in spazi digitali invece.
