♻️ We’re excited to participate in The European Steel Technology Platform (ESTEP) and FEhS - Building Materials Institute Slag Workshop, taking place in Duisburg, Germany, on March 5-6! This key event, organized by ESTEP Focus Group Circular Economy and the FEhS Institute, will focus on the role of #slag and other by-products of the steel industry circular economy. As partners of the RFCS InSGeP project, we’re committed to fostering innovation in sustainable steelmaking. As part of the HyTecHeat_H2020project, in collaboration with De Nora, Snam, and CD Elettrica s.r.l Elettrotecnica industriale, we have successfully installed a 1 MW Dragonfly® electrolyzer right at our headquarters in Castellanza! This cutting-edge system will enable on-site #hydrogen production to support advanced testing of hydrogen-ready burners for reheating furnaces, marking a significant step toward CO₂ emission reduction in steelmaking.
