Looking to revolutionize in situ analysis of proteins, RNA and DNA at the single cell level? Curious about standardizing cytology slides and plasma samples from a single blood draw? Discover Tethis S.p.A SmartBioSurface® nanocoated slides for non-adhering cells and the Seed instrument for pre-analytical automation in liquid biopsy. Meet Holger Neecke, PhD, MBA, our Chief Executive Officer, and Gian Martino Franchi, our Chief Technology Officer, at Medica 2024, HALL 14 / STAND C02-5, in Dusseldorf Germany from November 11 to 14 (https://lnkd.in/etV2jpG).
Chi siamo
At Tethis we aim to make liquid biopsy a standard, reproducible, oncology diagnostic. Our proprietary slides allow immediate, fully automated and gentle processing of blood samples, three unaddressed elements that are crucial to ensure standardization and to maintain clinical informativity. High throughput analytical protocols are then performed for highly sensitive and specific blood-based cancer testing in different clinical settings.

We are excited to announce Tethis collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine to test Tethis’ instruments for monitoring the response to curative treatment in patients with early-stage breast cancer. The scientists will collect blood from the patients and will measure the number and kind of tumor cells (cellular residual disease) and DNA (molecular residual disease) released from the tumor in the blood. Thanks to everyone involved in making this collaboration possible!
