🎉 In Preschool, they wrapped up their PYP unit How We Express Ourselves with a fabulous fancy party! ✨ 🎭 After exploring traditions and celebrations from around the world: Christmas, Befana, New Year’s, Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day, Carnival, and some Swedish traditions, the children planned their own celebration. 🌊♻️ ISG STUDENTS IN ACTION AT GENOVA SMART WEEK 🌍🚀 At the Salone di Rappresentanza in Palazzo Tursi during the fifth day of Genova Smart Week, our students took the stage as entrepreneurs, showcasing their project “IL MARE COMINCIA QUI” to combat the environmental impact of cigarette butts. In collaboration with the SAL Sport Club of Nervi, the American Women’s Club, PuliAmo la Foce, the University of Genoa, the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, OutBe, and Re-Cig, they’re working to close the recycling loop and promote active citizenship through environmental education. Every year, 14 billion cigarette butts are discarded in Italy, polluting the environment and harming marine life.
