UniFor was also honored to be part of the prestigious international jury, which included prominent figures such as Vicky Richardson, Maria Lisogroskaya (Assemble RA), and Julian Robinson. The jury awarded Structure Workshop for their project "Diplodocus Carnegii for The Natural History Museum" (Cat 787). UniFor supplied standard and custom furniture for one of the main offices of WilmerHale in Washington DC, the prestigious law firm with 13 offices worldwide and over 1,000 lawyers across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The space is located in a 11-story skyscraper on Pennsylvania Avenue, designed by the international architecture firm Pelli Clarke & Partners where the interior design is by Lehman Smith McLeish. The project includes seamlessly integrating UniFor's furniture into the building's architecture on floors eight through eleven, furnishing offices with large windows and spacious areas that enhance the sense of lightness and openness. The furniture selection ranges from standard meeting tables, credenzas, and workstations to custom-designed pieces such as cabinets and equipped walls, all contributing to an elegant and welcoming environment. UniFor also furnished two exclusive floors: the second floor dedicated entirely to meeting rooms enclosed by RP curved walls, and the penthouse featuring three meeting and board rooms. UniFor and Molteni&C inaugurate their new space located in the heart of Shanghai, in collaboration with the leader in the retail furniture industry, Domus Tiandi. The opening of the world's largest Molteni&C Flagship Store and the UniFor’s showroom aims to create a new visionary and transformative design landmark for the Molteni Group. Spanning over 3,500 square meters, the new space, encompasses two floors of exhibition space showcasing Molteni&C Collections, including offices, an Art Gallery and an immersive UniFor space tailored for architects and designers. The UniFor’s showroom seamlessly integrates some of its most iconic design pieces, from the timeless Parigi armchair, Cartesio bookcase, Consiglio table, and Museo chair, originally designed by Aldo Rossi, to the recent and innovative elements from the PRINCIPLES collection by OMA, the TDU mobile workstation by Studio Klass and X Shelving system by Foster + Partners. Sharing images from ORGATEC TOKYO: UniFor, in partnership with Shukoh.co, proudly presented the PRINCIPLES collection for the first time in Japan. Developed in collaboration with OMA, this collection exemplifies innovative design and functionality. The layout, inspired by traditional Japanese architectural culture, depicted a landscape entirely organized with PRINCIPLES. We are pleased to share some images from the inauguration of the exhibition "Oggetti – Architetture fuori dal tempo. Aldo Rossi e UniFor," which UniFor proudly supports on the occasion of Pesaro 2024, Capital of Italian Culture. The exhibition is open from May 24th to July 25th at the Forum Della Chiara Workspaces. Within the Della Chiara showroom, the iconic objects designed by Aldo Rossi for UniFor and Molteni&C, such as Parigi, Cartesio, Consiglio, and Museo, create a new urban imaginary composed of different architectural scales, dimension variations, memories, and visions. Evoking the installation conceived by Ron Gilad for UniFor, the exhibition brings to life a bizarre, disorienting urban landscape.
