Chemistry Junior Project Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a Chemistry Junior Project Manager to join its office in Genova or Milano, Italy within the Energy Innovation Division.

Mission

This role focuses on the project & proposal management of international R&D projects, focused on Sustainable Fuels, Renewable sources, Bioremediation and Green Chemistry.

Key Accountabilities

The new resource will be part of the team Energy Transition Strategic Centre, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities. They will:

• Manage EU R&D projects, in the field of chemistry applied to the energy sector: renewable energy and its integration in chemical industry, biomass valorisation, Alternative Biofuels, Synthetic Fuels, decarbonization & energy transition, Bioremediation.
• Develop and manage EU R&D proposals, in the field of chemistry applied to the energy sector: renewable energy and its integration in chemical industry, biomass valorisation, Alternative Biofuels, Synthetic Fuels, decarbonization & energy transition, Bioremediation.
• Develop and Manage the network of EU project international partners.
• Contribute to RINA’s activities of technical development, in the framework of EU funded projects also interacting with international partners.
• Contribute to or delivery reports and results European research and innovation projects.
• Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes
  
  
  

Contribute to the growth of RINA’s network of R&D partners in the field of Sustainable Fuels, Renewable sources, Bioremediation and Green Chemistry.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Italian
• Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written
• Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results
• Good attitude to teamwork

Education

Degree in Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry/ Chemical engineering with focus on energy efficiency, chemical processes and alternative fuels.
