Civil Design Engineer

Posizione:

We’re looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join the Civil Engineering department to design, develop and construct a huge range of projects since conception through to completion. She/He will work in a multidisciplinary team, in a dynamic and growing company and She/He will be involved in international projects.

Tasks and Duties:

• Managing, designing, developing, creating and supporting civil projects since permitting phase up to construction phase regarding all technical aspects, including a rough bill of quantities;
• Defining the general technical specifications and typical to be applied in the different projects;
• Managing external design Supplier, or Construction company regarding only civil engineering matters;
• Support the BID team to prepare Civil Technical Specification;
• Check for Civil design documentation from suppliers and contractors;
• Check the Civil schedule in terms of time and cost;
• Assess Civil and Steel Structural Design through FEM software analysis. (Concrete and Steel connections);
• Being responsible for maintaining high quality on the design issuances;
• Managing Client request regarding civil matters;
• Managing geotechnical aspects, from permitting phase up to construction phase;
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs for civil design;
• Support and collaborate tendering team for civil topics;
• Support R&D team for civil aspects;
• Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
  
  

Requisiti:

Technical Requirements

• Master’s degree in civil engineering;
• +5 years’ experience in civil international projects;
• Knowledge of FEM and AutoCAD software;
• Experienced with specific software: FEM software as ROBOT/STAAD pro or similar. TEKLA, AutoCAD or similar;
• Knowledge of international standard codes;
• Willingness to travel for short business trip;
• Good communication skills both in English and Italian; knowledge of a third language will be considered as a plus;
• Geotechnical skills are nice to have.
