Software Testing Engineer

Clivet, a Midea Building Technology Company, is looking for a Software Testing Engineer to join the fast-growing engineering team making breakthrough innovations for Midea Clivet products. This position is based on-site in Padua, Italy.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Creation of test cases to test application according to the logic book
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans based on control specifications
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve software defects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Conduct thorough software testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues.
• Verification of correct software operation
• Support for software development for error correction
• Support for drafting technical documentation (bulletins, manuals)
• Drafting software operating specification documents (Change log)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, electrical automation or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing
• Basic programming skills in C/C++ or Siemens PLC (Climatix)
• Previous experience in electrical testing and software/firmware development
• Strong goal orientation and adaptability
• Passion for new technologies and a willingness to learn
• Fluency in English is required.
