An increased emphasis on sustainability is leading to heightened regulatory measures and a necessary evolution for companies to align with ESG objectives. These, as well the need of reducing emissions to achieve "net zero" while at the same time ensuring the energy security of countries, were the central themes of the latest session of the Chiomenti Talks, titled "ESG Dialogues: The Value of Sustainability," which took place yesterday at the historic Monte Savello headquarters of Chiomenti in Rome. Following the opening remarks by Filippo Modulo, Managing Partner of #Chiomenti, a roundtable took place, in which Ennio Alagia and Maria Vittoria Marchiolo, Managing Associates, led a dialogue with key industry experts. The roundtable featured insights and viewpoints from the professional specialists Giulia Chierchia, Executive Vice President of Strategy, Sustainability, and Ventures at BP; Simona Melchiorri, Head of Sustainability Development, Monitoring, and Reporting at CDP; Carolina Nizza, Head of Sustainability Italy at Statkraft; and Antonio Errigo, Deputy General Director of ALIS - Associazione Logistica dell'Intermodalità Sostenibile.
