Hartigan was established in Jersey in 1984 and still remains the only multidisciplinary consulting practice based in the Channel Islands offering services in: * Structural Engineering * Civil & Geotechnical Engineering * Mechanical & Electrical Engineering * Historic Building Conservation * Environmental Engineering Our specialist teams undertake an unusually wide range of projects of all sizes - from modern structures to historic buildings. Our dedicated employees are at the heart of the business and offer a unique skill-set combining an understanding of traditional building techniques and materials, with access to state-of-the-art technology. We engage high calibre, highly qualified personnel; invest in training and maintain up-to-date computer systems to aid design, structural modelling, drafting and communications. The object and emphasis on every project is to engineer, within our clients’ brief, the most effective solution to their needs. Through close teamwork, we aim to maximise efficiency in the engineering of any project regardless of its size and complexity. Our services are comprehensive - taking projects from initial survey or reconnaissance, through design, detailing, and to completion. Dedicated personal service and engineering skills, along with access to specialist consultants ensure that the objectives of the client are always met. We have participated in some of the largest and most prestigious projects on the island, ranging from large scale private and social housing schemes, through to schools, public buildings and major commercial developments. However, we are also highly motivated to provide a personal and professional service to domestic clients undertaking new buildings, extensions, remedial works or modifications.
