On 21st October 2024, Sagri signed Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Philippine Rice Research Institute at PhilRice Central Experiment Station. This MoA includes the pilot project of Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) using Sagri cutting edge satellite analysis technology as MRV tool. On this pilot, we'll adhere to JCM(Joint Crediting Mechanism) methodology for future carbon credit generation. We appreciate PhilRice support to work on this pilot together and we also look forward to having continued partnership to mitigate climate risk in Philippines rice sector. On 3 October, Kazuki Sakamoto, Head of ASEAN Business, spoke at a webinar on digital agriculture organized by The World Bank Group. He presented how Sagri's satellite data analytics, AI and decarbonization technologies are helping to improve the agricultural sector and farmers' livelihoods not only in Asia, but also in Africa and Latin America.
