Arm continued to grow in the first quarter of FY2024, with quarterly revenue reaching a record high of USD939 million, surpassing the analyst consensus of USD903 million. Arm continues to be at the center of our #AI strategy, leading the development of AI #chips. Major hyperscalers are increasingly deploying Arm-based chips and in May, Microsoft released PCs designed for high AI performance, which integrate the company's chips. Notably, Armv9, which delivers double the royalty rate compared to equivalent Armv8 based chips, contributed 25% of the overall royalty revenue in FY2024 Q1, marking a 5% increase from the previous quarter. (NASDAQ: TEM, “Tempus AI”), we are thrilled to share that our Japan-based AI healthcare joint venture, SB TEMPUS initiated its operations on August 1, 2024. US-based Tempus AI, which holds the largest clinical and molecular dataset in the industry, offers services such as genomic testing and the aggregation & analysis of medical data. Our joint venture, SB TEMPUS, aims to further advance healthcare in Japan through the utilization of medical data and AI, building on the expertise and technology developed in the US. SoftBank Group Corp.'s financial position maintained robust stability in the first quarter of FY2024 despite recent market upheaval. Our key indicators—Net Asset Value (NAV), Loan-to-Value (LTV), and Cash Position—remained healthy. NAV reached a record JPY35.3 trillion as of the end of June 2024, while our low LTV of 7.8% and stable cash position of JPY4.6 trillion continue to enable further #AI investments. As SoftBank Group Corp. Chairman & CEO Masayoshi Son stated at our AGM earlier this year, our mission is to realize ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence) through a strategic approach to AI #investments. Our most important KPI, Net Asset Value (NAV), increased by 27% from the end of FY2023 to the end of the first quarter of FY2024, reaching a record JPY35.3 trillion. Together with a low Loan-to-Value (LTV) and stable Cash Position, the Group continues to be in a healthy position to seize AI #investment opportunities.
