On 25th October 2024,we had our Annual Career Fair themed - A Dynamic Actuary. The talks of the day reflected the evolving nature of the actuarial profession in today’s world. Actuaries are no longer limited to traditional fields like insurance or pension; they are now central in fields ranging from data science to environmental risk, AI, and beyond. By focusing on dynamism, our speakers emphasized the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and innovation for actuarial students. Ultimately, "A Dynamic Actuary" is about inspiring current and future actuaries to lead change, add value across all sectors, and approach challenges with a broader, more agile perspective.
