Gathering data on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) can be challenging, explains Professor Paul Turner. Testing for antimicrobial resistance is expensive and slow. It’s difficult to do at high quality and at scale. And in many settings the data is collected by hand, making it hard to combine and analyse digitally. As a result, patients and infections are missing from the global picture. Data and evidence are critical tools for tackling the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance. But we need to be able to collect and combine evidence from everywhere. 📺 Find out how researchers are working to fill in the gaps: https://lnkd.in/e2nZ697X
